I've been looking at various examples of Papercraft, and its pretty amazing to see what people are doing with such a basic material. I've had a really difficult time selecting one specific approach, but the one I'm most drawn to is Joel Cooper who creates really amazing origami masks. I can find plenty of pictures, but the little information I have found doesn't really go into his philosophy, if he has one, or intent, other than to create something beautiful, in a new way, and to incorporate different glazes and varnishes to vary the effect. I can't find a photo of him...his Flickr page says, "I fold paper"and "occasionally I update my blog".(haha) The way the woven strips create a polygonal solid has a striking similarity to computer generated line mesh images.
